Perfect for a night stay in the centre of Rome. However there seemed to be heaps of mosquitoes in the room so ended up having to buy mosquitoe repellent. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Friendly staff, disappointing room
Posted 15 Jul 2023 on HotelsVery friendly welcome host, Davide - he told us the best tourist spots and the best way to navigate the city, can’t fault him.
Poor communication from the property - we were stood on the street in 36°C heat for 30 mins with our suitcases because they hadn’t told us where/how to check in.
We have never stayed in a hotter room. No air con and the fan did nothing. It made our stay highly uncomfortable. No fridge to keep drinks cool.
The room was dusty and run down, the pillows were so flat it was like we were sleeping without one, and the pictures online deceive you about how small the room is. We could barely fit both our suitcases inside the room unless they were on the bed.
The bathroom was another story. 4 guests (us 2 and 2 in another room) were rationed to one toilet roll per day. On the final day this had already ran out by 1am so the next morning we were without toilet roll. The shower didn’t drain and was filthy. Wouldn’t touch the shower curtain, it had mould growing on it. Bathroom window overlooks busy courtyard from which people can see straight in. The hand soap provided was a dirty old bar of soap. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels while backpacking in third world countries.

1) on the reservation Is indicate adress , and an employe was there to wait your arrival at time we Accord with you , so what instruction you Need ??!!2) nowhere in the page Is indicate we have aircon , but Is clear indicate there Is a fan , Just ready when you reserve 3) if you Need another pillow , or another 2 or 3 Just ask Is not a problem ( but Is more nice to don't for have opportunity to write bad for you )4) in the bathroom there Is a small cabinet where Is toilet paper , the day you check out inside there Was a new roll ( Just open It )5) one secret , Windows can be close , in that way nobody see you from outsideIn conclusion , we are in center of Rome , 10 minutes walking from Colosseo you cannot think to spend same Money like "on third world countries" as you said ,and have comfort like in a hotel , next time choose real hotel , spend triple of the ammount and you Will be satisfy ...

Lovely host friendly and helpful

Check in was super easy David went above and beyond to help with directions, places to eat and genuinely such a nice guy with great stories and amazing customer service! He definitely made our stay in Rome even better we were super thankful for his kindness!

I travel a lot. I’m very adaptable. However this property was a real “dive”. Only reason to stay here is lower costs. I suggest paying a few extra dollars and going elsewhere.

Yes right , but "you choose" to save Money and reserve a guesthouse instead a real hotel , in Italy we Say : " you want to have wife drunk but bottle still full " , in restaurant in front did the same , want to eat but ask for a big discount instead go to supermarket if you don't have enough Money ...

Not much to this property in terms of amenities but it has the necessities. It more than makes up for it with its fantastic location, transport links and friendly staff. The staff member met me on arrival and pointed out the best restaurants and bars in the area. He was also around at least once per day in case anything was needed. Top service! I would recommend this apartment as a base for exploring rome
