The Golden Tulip Piram is an older compact hotel in the center of Rome. Great location for meeting up with tours as well as walking distance to the many restaurants that are nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful anytime we had a question. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day. I would stay there again when in Rome.

Room was not made up upon check in. Check in and bag check took forever. Overall the hotel wasn't as presented in the pictures. But what is these days I guess.

At first glance, the hotel looks like a hidden gem . There’s a bar by the check in desk , they’re open well into the night. There’s two restaurants and a spa on property. The staff at check in are friendly and helpful. However. Once entering the room, it does not match the energy of the hotel at all. The walls need a major paint job. Scratches and dirt etc. the room itself is of decent size but feels a little empty . The double bed we slept on was actually two twin beds pushed together. Not too comfortable but works for a short stay. The shower/bathroom was pretty decent and clean. My only major complaint is that there is no A/C use allowed. It was mid April with temperatures climbing . Called the desk and they told me to open the windows and we’ll feel better. However, once the windows were open the noise of partying and loud screaming kept us awake for majority of the night. Between the beds and the noise, it was a pretty bad night of sleep. I did not try any amenities on property.

Overall nice. There was a really weird odor in the bathroom but we just shut the door. Had to open windows because the AC is not on at this time of year. Fortunately it was enough to be reasonably comfortable. Nice location and staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooftop bar is cool

Very mediocre and over priced. We felt it was more of a 3 star/ motel as compared to a 4 star. There were no amenities ( body lotion , shampoo etc ) and the floors were not moped once in our 4 day stay despite we pointing it out to the cleaners. The rooms were also in a bad condition and although advertised as good for families- it wasn’t explicitly stating pets allowed. This was a no for us. The rooms also lacked an iron and an iron stand and when requested a broken iron was given to us along with a wooden iron stand ( which was taken back by housekeeping the next day ). The mini bar was extremely noise. And yes, the walls between rooms are invisible - there was no noise barriers at all and we couldn’t sleep at all with neighbours constantly hitting against the walls. It felt quite cheap actually. On the positive, the reception staff was helpful and informative. Apart from the location, we didn’t have a good time. Also, there are better options around the same area. Overall felt we were scammed/ ripped off.

Property is good and location very convenient. Breakfast is also good. Good choice for cost and location.

This is a lovely hotel so close to Termini.Staff are all amazing.Rooms are abit worn could do with painting but otherwise perfect.Thanks for a lovely stay!
