Thank you Marshall for these wonderful two nights in Sally Webster Inn, a very quiet and adorable property. Easy check-in with the YouTube video, our room was perfect, and the breakfast delivered at our door was delicious! Best, Clémence

This was such a beautiful stay! The room and house was lovely. Extremely close to the Main Street of Rockport and a stunning space. Marshall went above and beyond to make our stay great.

Barking dog on the property, beginning early and continuing all morning Sunday--beginning very early--ruined what should have been my second leisurely, restful morning of the weekend.

It was an easy (less than 10 min) walk to T wharf and Bearhskin cove. Bring a flashlight if walking on a moonless night. It seems odd not to have staff greet you, but all worked out fine. Left the car in their lot and walked to restaurants, etc. No need to keep looking for parking.

Fine for one night

This inn is adequate for a one-night stay. Rooms and bathrooms especially are small, with little space for your belongings. We stayed in the Sadie the Goat Room and the fireplace mantel is dangerously positioned (sticks out) next to the bathroom door. We and another couple we traveled with) all had head encounters with this mantel. Breakfast delivered to your room in a bag, which you could eat in your room or in our case we used the small reception room downstairs, which was nice but not ideally set up for eating. Bed was comfortable, but room was quite warm with no obvious way to adjust that.

However, I do wish you would have shot me a quick text to address your issues. We give all of our guests our cell phones and we live right on site. I could have quickly shown you how to adjust the heat and addressed your other concerns. There is no question that running an historic 1832 inn comes with some unique challenges. But the inn has served travelers to Rockport for decades and we absolutely love the rooms. We have significantly invested in the renovation of the inn and will continue to improve it moving forward. There are many luxury touches that we are proud to offer guests including fully renovated bathrooms, high quality mattresses, beautiful linens, luxury soaps, unique design, immaculately clean rooms, and a breakfast that is fresh baked and 100% complimentary. Thank you again for spending the night with us and for taking the time to share your experience. For future reference, Sally is the more affordable of our Rockport inn options. If you are looking for a larger, more luxurious room we do have some great options at our sister property, Addison Choate.
