Rob and Robin are excellent hosts. Comfortable bed, great breakfasts. Campfire by the stream and the sounds of the stream and the outdoors at night is very relaxing.

Great B&B

Absolutely wonderful experience. Our host's Robin and Rob were so nice. The breakfast was the bomb. Sitting out on the dock watching the river go by, our dog by are side, their cat's hanging around, a drink in hand couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, beautiful host

Location: If you are going to the North Carolina mountains you probably aren't going to party it up at a nightclub. Relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and soak u
Rob and Robin along with their dog Tucker and their three cats made us feel right at home. There is a beautiful porch with rocking chairs where you can sit and enjoy the sound of Buffalo Creek. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spacious and perfectly decorated and the breakfast was out of this world. They really do open their home to you and take care of every need you could anticipate. I would highly recommend this to anyone

Pros: Remotness
Ten miles into the boonies and worth it all. Quiet and beautiful with a stream running by the front. Owners are delightful and so was breakfast.

B&B worthy of nice review, quiet and relaxing.

We were busy with the Miata's at the Gap, however, Robin and Rob, were terrific and did everything in their power to make sure we had what we needed. They even took my 15 year old grandson on an adventurous ATV ride. He was thrilled. Back at home now, he has been telling his parents how much fun he had Montfort how nice Rob and Robin were. A wonderful time for Grampaw and Grandson.

Great relaxing visit!

Pros: We enjoyed the quietness and being able to just sit by the creek and enjoy nature. Rob offered canoe rides or 4 wheel tours
Cons: We loved it, the only thing we could think of would be a little more lighting in the bedroom
Location: There were a few local shops that we found very interesting; Heirloom Honey and Hunting Boy Wood Carving. We purchased items from both.
We enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Creek Bed & Breakfast. The facility was a cozy cabin with three guest rooms... Our room was downstairs. Great night’s sleep, the bed was very comfortable and bedding was great. We did not have a view of the creek from our room but by opening the window during the night we could easily hear the water! There was a nice porch w/ rocking chairs facing the creek and also chairs and a small table directly on the bank... That's where we spent time having lunch from the nearby Deli (generous and delicious) and catching up on some reading. The Owners, Rob and Robin were very friendly and personable. Very easy to talk with, discussing everything from local history to grandchildren. Our breakfast was delicious and more than enough. We felt very at home and comfortable during our stay. We would highly recommend!
