"The hotel was very clean, conveniently located near the station, and definitely worth the price. The staff were also kind and helpful during my stay. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit too narrow and quite soft. I also wish there had been unlimited complimentary tea and coffee available. One small issue was that after housekeeping took the pajamas for laundry, they often forgot to return the obi belt together with them."

The hotel is in the very charming neighborhood of Yanaka, and within 10 minutes' walk of two train stations that can get you wherever in Tokyo you need to go."

"Pros: Location of hotel is really good - subway a close walk and really close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Popular spot, i'm donut, is right behind the hotel. Room is clean. Cons: Hotel interior and room furnishings are outdated and the lighting is dim. Bedside only has one outlet available on one side - other outlets available throughout the room but not in the most handy of spots."

"Yes the rooms are small but excellent staff and great amenities make things more pleasant. Free breakfast and free happy hour on evenings are a definite plus. "

"The downsides: The furniture was old, though everything worked; the bedspreads were very dirty, and the walls were quite dusty. You open the door with a key that you have to hand in every time you leave the hotel. Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent service; there is nightlife throughout the area, and the train station is within walking distance."
