They say they are a 5 star property, but I would rate it as a 4 star property. The price of SAR2500 per night for a Superior (standard) room indicates it is a 5 star. However there was no bellman upon arrival, the mini bar is empty (they say you can call if you need something, in my book that is room service), no turn down service done, so these are all 5 star hotel requirements. A manager told me they don't do all this, only for the executive suits, what I find strange as my room is in the same 5 star hotel. In the room I couldn't get my own internet, as it seems blocked, therefore needed to use the hotel internet, well that was under maintenance. When it did work I could start scanning all the QR codes they have as there are no information booklets for anything anymore. After scanning the menu I ordered room service and wanted the mixed grill, they told me it was not on the menu. Seems the menu you get after scanning the QR code from the TV is not the correct menu. They explained the menu through the phone and I ordered.After eating my dinner I asked if they can take it out of my room wile I was away for 3 hours. When I came back late at night, the dinner was still in my room. The mattress is not bad, but certainly not what I experience in other 5 star hotels. All in all not a bad hotel, staff was very friendly and it was clean. Just the entire price / quality ratio is wrong and the fact they call themselves 5 star. Looking for an expansive 4 star hotel, you just found it.

Customer Service Needs Upgrading

During my check in at 4pm I had to wait for over 30 minutes as they didn't have a room available, then I waited further 15 minutes as they "apparently" needed to upgrade my room. No one communicated this to me, and the staff at the front desk were not interested in customer service or satisfaction! In addition, there is no taxis which come to the hotel, so the only choice is Uber.

Below Average, Not Clean, Not Recommended

Overall the place was below average: - the toothpaste I have received inside the box was used before! - The Air Conditions keep turning off in the night, I had to open it each time because its seems there is an issue in the switch. - The coffee meachine was not working. - The gym was the worst ever, no Water bottle inside, the dreasing room was dirty and not organized, the lockers not working, and I have found towels in the floor!! Not recommended place for a stay. The only good thing about the place is that you will have a microwave in your room, which is helpful if you are traveling.

The service is the best - from the front desk staff to the housekeeping and restaurant — everyone is kind. The property is clean and quiet and being in the DQ is perfect with access to a small Tamimi and several restaurants and a spa! Can’t go wrong here — and you can cook in the room! Perfect!
