Comfortable base for the Marlborough wine region

Posted 6 Jan 2024 on Hotels
Heidi and Werner run a professional and welcoming small hotel and Heidi is an excellent hostess. The highlight is her breakfast which has become a benchmark for us on our travels. She also holds much sway in the region and was able to reserve us tables at otherwise busy restaurants

Lovely home base for wine atra

Sunset room in this B&B had direct access to pretty garden. An add on room rather than part of original building but pretty and comfortable. Heidi & Werner are wonderful hosts, providing much assistance re the area @ the best breakfasts.

Well Located For Blenheim With Lovely Grounds

Posted 23 Feb 2015
Pros: Location to surrounding towns and local activities.
Cons: Swimming pool could be cleaned and useable.
Location: Blenheim town very nice, several vineyards to visit. Would recommend Raupo Cafe for dinner, excellent food and staff.
Lovely grounds and very clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Was not prepared for the 5am train which woke us up every morning and was disappointed with the swimming pool, which was a point of booking at hotel, was was dirty and unusable.

We are very sorry about the swimming pool. We didn't clean it on this day because it was cold and very windy.
