Good but disappointed.
Posted 11 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe hotel is lovely and its location is great. My challenges with the hotel were all about the hidden charges. We stayed here last year and enjoyed free parking, free use of the spa facilities and bikes, etc. This year, because we had booked through Hotels.com and not via the hotels website, we we now being charged for the things we had enjoyed for free the previous year. It seemed very underhand.

A gem at the northern edge of Lago Garda

Amazing location, right next to the beautiful waterfront and piazza in Riva del Garda. The beds were comfortable, but our suite was in the "attic" and we had to be careful not to hit our heads while walking around our room. That would have been ok, but the biggest problem is there was zero sound insulation between our room and the next room and hallway, so we were disturbed at all hours by other people talking. Otherwise we would have liked the hotel, but I probably won't stay there again because our sleep was disturbed.

Good hotel and great location, staff very helpful.
Only downside was two lifts plus stairs to negotiate to our room.
Would stay again.
