Best service and value small and clean room
Posted 1 Jan 2024 on HotelsAngelina at the reception needs a special mention, offering assistance beyond call of duty. Incredible price at $140 ( inclusive of breakfast) when other hotels in the vicinity shotup New Year prices to $400 plus. Ibis is on my favourite list now. They even made an at no extra charge. Definitely worth spending on taxi (US$12) to get there and back to Copacabana which also has Ibis worth checking out. A swimming pool would have given the Ibis 4* rating

Lackluster Hotel
Posted 11 Sep 2023 on HotelsFirst off, the check in process here is a nightmare. Many people waiting in line and very slow. I waited more than 30 minutes to check into my room. The checkout process was also bad and the same situation.
The room is very small, and lacking in features. No hand towels, no trash can in main room, air conditioning is weak too.
The rooms are clean and in good condition but that’s all I can say that’s good. The breakfast buffet was not good and they charge extra for it(better off eating out)
