The owner Raul is a very friendly and intelligent guy. He provided a lot of info about the area, such as the botanical garden, the mall and the restaurants etc. The hot water shower was the best I had during my trip in Brazil. His house is located in a very nice neighborhood. It’s easy to walk around and find the way back.

Gavea where the BNB is located is a very nice area. There are a few excellent restaurants nearby. Raul, the owner of the BNB is an outstanding host always willing to help.

Excellent B&B!

Pros: Cleanliness, and the owner
Cons: Nothing really
Location: There's a good restaurant nearby, plus a few shops, but for everything else, you need the metro or bus
Situated in a quiet, safe neighbourhood of Rio, this makes a good base for exploring Rio. The place is spotless, our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast is excellent. The owner and his girlfriend couldn't do enough to help us with organising tours, bus tickets etc, and their advice was invaluable. It is a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station.

Tudo perfeito. Desde a recepção até a despedida. O Raul e a Manu são super atenciosos e acessíveis. O quarto é maravilhoso e o café da manhã uma delícia.

O ambiente é muito agradável! O atendimento é ótimo! Raul (o proprietário) é muito atencioso! Senti, logo no check-in, um local seguro e respeitável. A localização é muito boa (próximo à PUC) em um bairro residencial onde se é possível andar a pé!
