Great location direct connection to BER Airport and easy access to Old Spandau Centre. But could not call friends or receive calls from important relatives. We are tourists, 80 years old, that depend on such a service. Our Canadian roaming charges are extremely expensive so we had no telephone connections to the Berlin area. Not everyone has a German mobile phone.

The hotel was very shabby and the radiators did not go above lukewarm. Thin duvets and pillows. On the plus side the shower was always hot and the situation was very convenient.
