We really enjoyed the property and had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary here. Wish the staff had better attitudes and were friendlier to the guests, felt like an inconvenience when needing their attention. I was not pleased to see they charged me multiple times over the month of April due to incorrect billing without any notice and didn’t seem to care when I called to get an explanation of why they charged me again 3 weeks after my stay. It was really unfortunate and not sure I will be staying again.

I have confirmed that it was due to being undercharged at the time the reservation was made, and our staff should have corrected and communicated this at the time of check-in. We needed an extra bed for our son and the property manager went out of his way to accommodate us. He was professional and courteous in every way and introduced us to the staff in case we needed additional service. The property is getting additional investment to update the furnishings and external features which will make the facility even more inviting. Ridgway is a great little town with some great food options. We were especially taken with a little place called the 66 Eatery.

Not a resort

Loved the room and the hottub on the private balcony. I did not care for all the construction and remodeling of the whole property. I understand charging a resort fee when you have resort amenities. But, i did not appreciate paying a resort fee when the spa is closed for remodeling. The restaurant is on limited hours with limited menu. I feel like they shouldnt be charging a resort fee until they have everything opened.

The bed seemed to be outdated and a lot of outside noise like doors banging a lot.
