The property had higjer reviews but qas very dated. The bed was on an aluminum frame, first I have seen on that one. Furniture was banged up and AC ran very loud.

On our trip home, it was raining and we had driven 13 hours. We decided to stop unaware of the area. We took a chance and stopped at Hopewell, VA because we have a town with the same name. We took our chances and were pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean, the check in was easy and the host, most pleasant. We walked and got dinner. They serve coffee and tea all night and a full breakfast in the morning. We now have made thus the place to stop on our way home.

Dark. Rooms ok but not enough lighting. One lamp didn’t work .ice machine on our floor didn’t work

There were a few light bulbs that didn’t work other than that our stay was great overall.
