The location is great- right near the concert hall, the bay, and walking distance to downtown. We were able to find free parking nearby on a weekend. The hotel itself was noisy- we could hear the TV and conversations in rooms near ours.

Have to pay for parking and park on the street. No luggage carts to bring stuff from your car to the hotel. The shower/bathroom was combined and honestly stunk like piss. Had to squeegee the floors after a shower to use the bathroom. Thermostat was not working and had to leave the window open to try and cool down the room. Was able to go the spa for free, I would not pay for it otherwise, very small. Beds were not the most comfortable. Not worth the price. Does have a nice view and close to the shopping streets.

Very nice stay for our last night in Iceland! Staff was very friendly, as we arrived a few hours early to ask for early check in, and they said our room was not yet ready but let the housekeepers know right away and we were able to check in shortly after. Recommend :)

Would stay again! We enjoyed great sleep due to the quiet location, comfortable bed, and blackout curtains. This hotel is an easy walk to a number of shops, restaurants, and pick up locations for day tours. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay convenient to everything ! Great staff and friendly area. Tour buses leave right in front of the hotel

Great location. We chose seaview room and it was a great icelandic view with bay and mountain in the distance. Staff knew english well as anyone else in iceland. They try hard to explain the best too but its not their native language so show sum respect. :) They only had 5 free parking in the back but the property is surrounded by pay parking. So i am okay with that. But be ready to pay for parking. Walkable to many downtown places. They need to clearn the bed room window though. It wasnt bad but it had sum trace of dews stain and dust stain on windows for the nice view they got. Id stay there again tho!
