Great place to overnight before heading to the airport in the morning, and the free airport shuttle is very convenient.

We chose this hotel as we had an early flight the following morning and it was an easy 7 minute drive. For an airport hotel, it is in a pretty location overlooking the harbour and it has a lovely classy and cosy interior. The room was comfortable and the addition of bathrobes was a nice touch. We used these when we had a relaxing dip in the rooftop pool. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant as there was not much else around. It was pricey but tasty. The lamb was beautiful and was a generous portion. The only negative was there was quite a lot of noise during the night from other guests arriving late, we could hear almost every word of a phone conversation in a neighbouring room.

Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely property. We arrived after midnight and it was so nice to have staff help at that time. Our room had a lovely view of the harbor. We opted to eat the hotel breakfast and it was delicious and many great and interesting choices. Just a great hotel all around.

The front desk staff when we were checking in (couldn’t remember the whole name but start with Aj) was pleasant, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We thought he was the owner! Our room is very nice, clean and roomy, unlike a typical European room, small. The only thing would make this hotel perfect is the blackout drape since the Sun never sets ! The Fiskbarinn restaurant was great not just the food but also the service. The check out staff was also pleasant, he made the best expresso! Highly recommended.

Desk service was quick and always helpful when we had questions, as this was our first time in Iceland. Great pool!

We were delayed in our flight. Needed a room and they were great even sent texts back and forth prior to landing. Close to airport but couldn’t hear planes. Staff were great and so was the breakfast. Shuttle back to airport was good also. Great stopover location!!

The linens were wonderful. The pool/spa was clean, warm and nice views.
