Great park. Excellent laundry and camp kitchen. Plus communal fire pits.

A first time I see a camp site with laundry where you have to buy token from the office to use the washing machine (no card, no coins accepted) and when you find that out at 6pm, well, tough luck, office open from 9am to 5pm only. Then when you come to the dryer, oh, the dryer take the coins (yes, your normal gold coins), but not the washing machine.
Now onto the Taka tent, its not seal very well so all sorts of bugs will come inside the tent, the ceiling, the bed, everywhere.
Now the toilet, we book an ensuite tent so it come with a private bathroom/toilet. The toilet had not been plumb properly causing the smell inside the toilet is unbearable, so we have to use the communal toilet which is ten folds batter than this ensuite toilet. So much trouble for a "glamping" experience (dont jump the gun yet, we are no newbie campers, we sleep in our own roof top tent on car or pitch our own tent usually, just happen that the Carnarvon Gorge national park Campground have fully booked so we booked at Big 4 instead, first and last.

We’re really sorry it didn’t meet your expectations.We understand it’s frustrating you need tokens for the washing machines, however we were pleased to hear our manager supplied you with some after 6pm, after calling our after-hours radio. We are a remote destination, so some things are a little different – we hope in the future we will be able to provide guests with machines that take cards, but unfortunately our phone reception does not allow it at this stage.We send guests a message after check-in to ensure everything is ok – we encourage guests to let us know about any issues as soon as they arise, so we can fix them immediately. We’re really sorry we weren’t aware that your bathroom smelt, but we’re glad you found our shared facilities great.We have reviewed our listings and have found our images and descriptions accurate. We don’t promote our Taka Tents as a glamping experience, as this wouldn’t be an accurate reflection. We do also have powered and unpowered sites, should guests wish to camp and at this time of year, we are the only accommodation option at Carnarvon Gorge.Thanks again for taking the time to tell us about your experience and we’re sorry it didn’t meet your expectations on this occasion.BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge

After paying for a ensuite Tarker tent we had to use the shared showers as ours did not work,front door catch needs attention and some BBQ in the camp kitchen would not work from a lack of gas.Apart from that had a good time.saw my first Platypus

We stayed in a fixed tent! It was expensive and only had a fridge and bed in the tent!' The camp kitchen didn't have a toaster or microwave!!

Close to Carnarvon Gorge National Park. Nice resort to relax and chill after the hiking trips!
