Good value as a stopover hotel
Posted 13 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe Receptionist was very polite and told me everything I needed to know. The food on offer at the adjacent Mercure hotel was so-so but service was quick. The room was a little scruffy (paintwork scuffed and bathroom in need of a deep clean due to scum and mould at the bottom of the shower). The bed had a nasty synthetic mattress protector which made for a sweaty night's sleep but was otherwise okay. The TV in the room was enormous and had a good range of French TV channels. The breakfast was fine but a fresh fruit salad rather than a processed one would have been better. Overall I would say that this hotel offered good value as a stopover hotel either to/from Calais en route to the South of France.

Cheap clean hotel with lovely staff
Posted 31 Jul 2023 on HotelsNo frills, room was clean, staff were lovely and friendly. Have stayed twice now and would 100% recommend if in a road trip and just need a bed for the night! Will be staying again!

The property was very dirty even the nails of somebody was there which suggests that no cleaning was done. Very bad smell in the room and too much dust.

Small room for 3 people but very clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and polite.
