The hotel was very nice but we could not get the air conditioning to work

The hotel was a nice place but I was disappointed in the lack of dining nearby. It was quite accessible to the main attractions in the area but the area was a bit sketchy after dark.

As other reviewers wrote, the properties are average but the location is almost perfect. Not busy or crowded location but easy to access the central by 15 mins walk. A mini-supermarket is close to the hotel which is also convenient.
An A/C was not working and the Breakfast was lower than expectation but ok-ish. Probably we overexpected (because it's a French hotel).
The toilet bulb was broken suddenly while staying. We needed to wait in the room for a technician to fix it for an hour but they didn't come at last. I appreciate they proposed another room but we didn't want to spend more time changing a room.
Staffs are kind and polite. A fridge was installed in the room.
Overall, it was a good balanced hotel and we'll stay there again next time.

We loved our stay, walking distance to sights and restaurants and the staff was lovely!

Etape champenoise
Posted 2 Dec 2023 on HotelsLa chambre confortable et spacieuse mais le double vitrage ne suffit pas à étouffer le bruit des voitures. D'autre part, le nom porte à confusion . Il n'est pas situé près de la cathédrale. Il y a plus de 10 minutes de marche.
Le petit déjeuner est bien complet mais les produits sont de qualité médiocre. La salade de fruits n'est pas de toute fraîcheur.
