I did a Expedia booking and payment at the same time as usually. Next morning the Hotel Staff or owner force me to pay another time explaining me they did only the deposit and start to show me different papers, I refuse to pay another time explaining him several times I already did the payment at that point he become very rude and kick me off the Hotel Hall. So be careful with this Hotel the manner are very rude and unprofessional if you listen to him you maybe charged twice as often Italian restaurants and hotels try to do it.

Your reservation that was made on Expedia was NOT a pre-paid booking. The hotel made (as with all of our bookings) a PRE-AUTHORISATION on the credit card number given at the moment of your reservation being made. When at the check-out you were asked how you wished to make the payment (by closing the pre-authorisation or with another credit card/cash) you became rude and insolent insisting that you had already paid. You would be advised to read carefully the regulations of the sites that you use before accusing people who know their jobs of being incompetent. For us to close a pre-authorisation, we are obbliged to ask for the original card to be shown because in the case a card that was stolen or cloned was used to make the booking, we are obbliged to refund the money. We are more of the idea that we will advise other hotels to not accept your booking to avoid problems with an ignorant individual who has no idea how the booking system functions.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent rooms re size and facilities. Secure underground parking. Local bar next door.
Location: Easy access to the motorway. Quiet location.
We have used this Hotel around 8 occasions as we drive through Italy from the UK enroute to the ferry to Greece and have always been very pleased with our experiences at the Hotel.

Great hotel! Just far out of town (40 minuts bus ride from train station) and the restaurant was closed.

Posted 2 Jun 2017 on HotelsVery convenient location for a visit to Parma. Accommodations were more than sufficient for the price. Restaurant on site was very good with acceptable service. If I were to recommend anything, it would be better pillows and climate control. We had to have the windows open for fresh air and to cool the room. The road noice was horrible and the family arguing in the parking lot did not make for a good night sleep. Had the room had better AC we could have closed the windows.
