Hotels.com is not to be trusted
Posted 27 Sep 2021 on HotelsI made a booking on hotels.com and got a message that it was confirmed. When we called for directions the owner said there were no rooms and hotels. Com made a mistake. After a 45 min phn call with hotels, they hung up on me when they tried to book me a hotel at the same price 45 mins away. They claimed to not be able to see the more expensive hotels that were 5 minutes away on their own app. I asked for a refund from hotels which has taken 3 days and multiple chats. Hotels claims to have called the owner who said no to a refund. This is a lie. I contacted the owner by email to ask why no refund and showed him the email from hotels. He said they never contacted him and he filed a complaint with them and Expedia to try and get the refund.

Beautiful B&B, very friendly staff.
Posted 5 Oct 2015 on HotelsWe only stayed 1 night, we wish we stayed longer. Very friendly staff, super delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this accommodation if you're in the area.
It's a bit tricky to find, might wanna contact the owners for directions prior.

Wonderful and unique place to stay
Posted 10 Jun 2015 on HotelsThis is a truly unique place to stay: a beautifully converted 900 year old fortified granary. Serrano di Rapelano itself seeps history and tranquillity and finding the property amongst the medieval streets is something of a treasure hunt. The bedrooms are all indiviually themed, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean.
The granary is at the top of the town and the views out over the Tuscan countryside are incredible. We stayed in the cherry room and could look out onto the rolling hills from the comfort of the bed. We recommend that you sleep with the shutters open!
As a B&B it is faultless, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast delightful. Local meats and cheeses with homemade cakes and pastries and fresh juice and coffee. We were the only guests that night but the owners still set a full buffet up as if the place was full. We were genuinely touched at the amount of effort they went to on our behalf.
I think this may be the first English language review of Antico Granaione on trip advisor and perhaps this goes some way to explain why this place was so quiet when we visited. English speakers: we thoroughly recommend it!

Si tratta di un vecchio granaio ristrutturato veramente splendidamente. Le camere spaziose e confortevoli con vista panoramica. A 5 min da Rapolano terme. La sig.ra Yudi e i suoi figli gentilissimi e accoglienti e disponibili. Perfette le indicazioni per arrivarci xke si trova all'ingresso del centro storico di Serre.
