A cold experience

A fuse had gone so my room was 4 degrees when i arrived after a long drive. In fact not much worked because of that, but i did have light in the bathroom and hot water there. Staff were apologetic, but i was not given a refund or similar. I tried calling staff at 2330 and also at 830 am, but nobody was picking up. I got electricity back 1100

Christmas trip

Nice cottage-style room with small loft. Had coffe maker and fridge. Floor heating made it comfortable when freezing outside. Didn’t get inside the inn as the place was closing for christmas.

Cold Breakfast! Served in evening!

Apart from the breakfast, everything else was so good. I was served with cold breakfast. They provided me the breakfast in the evening as soon as I check-in. I had to store it and eat it in the morning.

Dear Vinoth, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We serve breakfast in our rooms as we do not have staff employed in the morning and since room has a fridge, we belive it is fine and that our guests can sit in their dressing gown, enjoying fresh coffee. Egentligt pænt og fint "gør det selv" istandsat bygning, men der er ingen varme på badeværelset, og i en gammel stenbygning så var det bare så koldt at man fik krampe i fødderne. Men det værste var at værelse lå 1,5 meter fra landevejen der går mellem bygningerne, så der var bil larm hele natten, ingen ro, biler, udrykninger og "Brian og Conni" med deres musikanlæg. Må klart frarådes hvis man ikke i forvejen er vant til høj gadestøj hele natten.

Hej Erik, Tak fordi du har brugt tid på at anmelde dit ophold. Jeg har fluks bedt vores tekniker om at tjekke gulvvarmen i værelset/badeværelset, så vi er sikre på at det fungere. Mht larm fra nabo værelset, så havde vi selvfølgelig bedt om at skrue ned, hvis vi havde vidst de larmede, der er desværre af og til nogen som ikke viser hensyn. Vi er en rigtig landevejskro, bygningerne er fredet og faktisk kgl privilegeret. Kroen ligger derfor op ad en vej og det er ikke muligt for os at flytte bygningerne længere væk fra vejen, vi har forsøgt:-) vi gør derfor vores yderste for at isolere og gøre værelserne så lydtætte som muligt, og som sidste mulighed lægger vi ørepropper på værelserne. Hvis vi skulle få mulighed for at byde dig velkommen en anden gang, må du endelig skrive til mig direkte, så skal jeg sørge for at du får et værelse væk fra vejen. God jul - Jane
