The first room they gave me smelled of mens cologne to the point it made my head hurt..the second room wasn't any better the door had a crack in it to the point you could see the hallway and the people walking,so I used the ironing board to block the view every night i was there and there was a camera in the room and I was told it was a people counter🤔and in the ceiling over the bed was a red wire hanging and it looked to be a microphone, we pulled on but it wouldn't come down..I couldn't change hotels because we booked through a 3rd party and I would have to go back through the 3rd party in which I was told it would be at least a week before the funds would be back on my card couldn't do that so I had to pray and stay ..The hallways constantly smelled of weed and the staff wasn't very friendly the only one that was friendly was Danielle..Over all I wasnt pleased with the hotel,staff or up keep of the property..

Disappointed!! I booked the place thinking it was part of the Wyndham hotel chain. It was our first time in Raleigh NC. The area was sketchy. We saw people hanging out by the railroad track next to the hotel sitting around and building a fire. The hotel was supposed to be a NON-Smoking, but we saw several people walking around the hotel smoking outside at 10PM. Once we checked in, I was told that the front elevator was not working, and to park in the back and use the back elevator. We drove to the back and the lighting to the back door was not working. It was dark and felt unsafe. There were more people hanging out in the parking area next to the wooded area outside smoking. The room was spacious, but the beds were very small. There is no lock on the bathroom door. There is no fridge in the room and the ice machine on our floor was not working. When we checked in, we were told that the pool was out of service. My kids were looking forward to using the pool. The yogurt served at breakfast was frozen. I booked two nights but left the after the first night, even though I already paid for it. I will never stay at any La Quinta Inn by Wyndham.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Not much to do in immediate area. Breakfast could be more substantial.

Was not warned in a timely manner that the pool was broken, if I had been warned I would have gotten a refund and found a different hotel, in the pictures for the property there is a hot tub but actual property does not have one, bathtub/shower was dirty and peeling, a lot of the outlets in the room did not work, and 2 of the lights didn’t work, overall cleanliness for the rest of the room was good.

This is an old hotel and some of the lights didnt work, the staff were frendley but the computers were slow and had a long line to check in. the front door was automatic but moved at a snales pace. noisy.

Pool was not open. There was no phone in the room (notified staff) TV was not easy to follow
