Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great location! Cannot say enough nice things about the staff- they are happy and really make guests feel welcome!

Thank you for your post stay review. Our property has been doing smaller renovations that started in late 2023. We replaced all of our beds, bedding and TV's. In May we will be adding software to our Smart TV's so that you will be able to access the remote and guide from your smart phone. We will also be refurbishing all of our case goods in the rooms.(dressers, nightstands, etc.) There will be more to come as well. We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon!

The staff were so, so helpful with everything. I liked the free shuttle within the 5-mile radius of the property & on weekends. What didn't I like? the mattress in my room needs an upgrade and the little kitchenette area need a sink, I had to use the sink in the bathroom for cleaning my personal cup that I travel with.

Thank you for your review, Frances. We are happy to hear that our staff was helpful and accommodating. It looks like you enjoyed our shuttle service as well. We just replaced all of our mattresses in December of 2023 with Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. We will definitely check the mattress in the room you stayed in to see if there is an issue.The Hilton Garden Inn hotels are not setup to have a full wet bar area with a sink. These type of wet bar areas will be found in Hilton's suites and extended stay portfolios. I totally understand what you are saying though.We hope you will give us another try on your next visit to the area.

The Hilton Garden Inn/University Medical Center is walkable to several restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. It is >10 mins from the Duke University campus as well as downtown Durham. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
