This place is next level! We booked it as we had 1 night in Quito before flying back to the UK and it was superb. The staff could not have been more helpful & the facilities were top notch. Our room was immaculate & we had a balcony on the lake where we saw so much wildlife including some quite rare birds. We were able to check out late & use the facilities until we needed to head to the airport and we had a wonderful relaxed afternoon by the outdoor pool. The food and drinks were delicious. A glorious setting and the perfect relaxing end to an amazing holiday.

Terrible experience
Posted 3 Jan 2024 on HotelsLas Palmas is mostly a polo club. They host massive events. I wished they had let us know that they were hosting a massive party the day of or arrival, we spent an hour sitting in traffic trying to access the property. The property is located in a rural area, that can only be accessed through a narrow street.
When they host these events there is massive congestion. It took us longer to get to the hotel than to fly from Cuenca to Quito. Terrible experience. The music was loud and we could hear it in our room. The rooms are spacious but don’t have blackouts curtains.
The front desk was very apologetic but it was clear they didn’t think through how hosting a massive event would impact their regular customers.

Very spacious accommodation with mini kitchen, excellent place for just relaxing in a quiet spacious setting. Feels more like a country club than a hotel. Staff were incredible, very helpful in whatever was requested.

There was a problem with our reservation, however they were able to solve it, that’s why the rating was not excellent.
The place is really beautiful, quiet and cozy.
