Convenient and delightful overnight stop

Pros: Friendliness
Location: Adjoins cultural buildings and the central road running either side of the river, with floral bridges to the central square, bars, cafes and shops.
As in 2016, my wife and I slept very well after a long day travelling (the hotel being again very accommodating of our late arrival). Breakfast offered a very wide choice, buffet-style, regularly replenished. The relaxed approach to checkout was a very helpful start to our short journey to the Brittany coast, at La Foret Fouesnant, to join our family, after spending the morning looking around Quimper.

Great location, superior 2 star hotel. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Would recommend. Only negative was that no tea and coffee making facilities were available.

Hotel Dupliex - Quimper; Good value for money.
Posted 20 Sep 2012 on HotelsA good week's stay. The Dupleix is in need of a little refurbishment, but has secure parking, a brilliant position, and friendly staff. There is no restaurant in the hotel (apart from for Breakfast), although there are plenty of restaurants close by.

Happy in Quimper

Location: Central Quimper is full of character - the river with its many pedestrian bridges, quaint streets, restaurants and market
Have stayed at this hotel for many years. Situated in the heart of Quimper and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Pleasant reception staff. Rooms nicely decorated, ample storage. Parking garage – a real bonus - accessed from the back of the hotel.

Hotel Dupleix, Quimper
Posted 1 Aug 2011 on HotelsThe reason we stayed at the Hotel Dupleix was its central location, just over the river from the Cathedral. The room was adequate although the bathroom and general decor dated - no spare pillows in the room. Good and varied buffet breakfast. From our experience of hotels in France the room was a little expensive.
