Check in process needs some work. They were super strict on a 3pm checkin with 30 people in the foyer waiting for the time to clock over. Not a great experience. I don’t see why you wouldn’t put people in their rooms if they’re ready. It just makes sense.

Upon check in we were sent to the property across the street from the hotel. We would have preferred to be staying in the main hotel or at least to have been notified of this in advance.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The suite was large but the sofa in the suite was quite stained.

We we placed in a flat across the road from the hotel which was not what I had thought I had booked. It did have a refrigerator though, so we could chill the complimentary water.

Enjoyable stay at Malone. Only had an overnight stay and it was convenient to the venue where we were having a family celebration. Everything from staff, to the quality of the room was more than adequate. Would recommend.

The Malone is a perfect spot within walking distance if so many attractions: museum, pubs, churches…

The hotel is close to Queen’s University and the university section of the city. While walkable to the city’s shopping, it is easier to take public transportation or Uber/taxi. The street is quiet and mainly residential. You’re a short distance from Dean’s at Queen’s a Michelin Bib Restaurant.
