The hotel was lovingly renovated. A beautiful place with an amazing view over the old town. Just a couple of minutes walk to the old town square. No elevator! All rooms are on the 3rd floor.

We really liked the history and the tour of the castle.The room was nice.There was a small fire in the maintenance room and the alarm went off.The staff extinguished the fire but did not call the fire department. That night the heating system and the hot water did not work. There is no staff in the building at night which did not make us feel comfortable. Things can happen but overall it was wonderful staying in a castle. We would definately stay here again.

Ein ganz tolles Hotel. Super Athmosphäre. Personal sehr freundlich und den Gästen zugewandt.
Ein wirklich sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel.

Perfect location
Posted 9 Sep 2022 on HotelsFascinated place to stay, Especially when you hear the history and how the owners have renovated the whole house.
A small castle or a big villa in the city center. Spacious room with old furnitures, we had a beautiful view from our room.
Nice to sit in the bar in the evening, there was also a terrace on the roof where you could sit and have a drink.
It’s not a place for disabled people because there were no lift and many stairs.

Not for disabled or people who are unable to walk
Posted 14 Jul 2022 on HotelsWe were told to wait another hour, even though we arrived at the time required.This hotel is placed with easy access to the center of the city, but with no streetnoice. We got a room under the roof, so lots of stairs and no elevator. The room was nice, but quite dusty. There was no proper curtain.
