The staff was wonderful - they were courteous, helpful and efficient.
However the property itself needs a good renovation.
The staff do the the best they can with what they have to work with but the proprietors should clean up their act.
The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired - I cannot comment much on lunch and dinner, as I had only one dinner which was not very appetizing.
The "private beach" advertised is a joke - there is no bar, no washrooms - just a few (8 or 10) worn out deck-chairs on a lumpy lawn off the beach. The little sheds shown in their photo is for the adjacent hotel.
The pool on the hotel grounds is decent enough with 2 worn out sun umbrellas and a couple of deck-chairs. in the middle of the pool there is a jacuzzi which remains constantly dry and useless.
If you want to eat elsewhere, be sure to rent a car as this hotel is isolated and there is nothing within walking distance. At the other surrounding hotels, you cannot buy a drink or a plate food - so be warned!!!

Overall pretty good，no airport shuttle bus which was not included in all inclusive by the hotel

I like that the people were nice. Scrambled eggs were cold for breakfast, spider webs in the bathroom and in the window room and patio door. Beach area was damaged to walk down, golf car almost did not make it to the property from the beach, jacuzzi in the swimming pool area broke and dirty, common bathroom by the lobby did not close door and not napkins to dry hands. It’s unsafe to walk to the beach because the trail is broke down.

Carlo was the one bright spot in an otherwise dismal place. It was deserted save one other couple and the restaurant staff were uninterested in providing even moderate service. You don't see people in the pics and you'll find that's truth in advertising.

The hotel is not new and could use some very minor cosmetic upgrades but overall an incredible place to stay. It's not on the beach but they have a shuttle to and from the beach or you can walk, 5-7 minutes. I have NEVER been at a place that had such a friendly, service oriented staff from registry to housekeeping. They always had a smile and friendly greeting. Just a super experience. The dining staff found out it was an anniversary trip and had a special table prepared one morning with flowers and origami. All staff seemed to want to go above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
