Good resort, 1/2 the property is renovated and other half is not. Prices for the rooms reflect that. We had lots of fun, beach and the pool were not crowded and we could always find a chair or an umbrella. Food was good and the staff was very nice and friendly. It’s a great family friendly resort.

I LOVED THIS RESORT IT WAS MY FIRST ONE. I GAINED WEIGHT WITH THE FOOD BUT THE WALK RO THE ROOM BECAUSE THE POPERTY IS HUGE I LOST SOME LOL 😆 ONLY CONS I HATE WAS THE SIZE OF THE SHOWERS I DON’T LIKE SHOWER CURTIANS TO TOUCH ME THE ENTIRE TIME I AM SHOWERING.

We will definitely be going back to Catalonia Punta Cana ! The property was beautiful staff was very nice , the food was excellent ! We can’t wait to return !

Wow! wow! wow! Was at catalonia for 4 days and couldnt be happier with my stay, pool and beach were amazing, food was great, drinks were awesome, and the most important thing were the staff, what an amazing group of staff, couldnt of asked for a better vacation with my wife and 5 year old son. One thing that stood out was when we got to one of the dinner reservations on my sons birthday he pointed to another families table and asked for a balloon from a birthday they were having, and when we ordered desert little did we know that the whole staff came out with a nice decorated set of birthday balloons and a pierce of cake for the 3 of us and sang him happy birthday, truly the highlight of our stay, also was picked to go up on stage for a even called the sexiest man in catalonia and i was in tears from laughing so much, had a blast, would recommend.

Long overdue for refurbishment and a deep cleaning. Stinky septic smell and nothing looks like the pictures. I guess most reviews are fake? Staff is helpful but the hotel is way way understaffed (had to wait for the checkin for over an hour)
