Lovely shabby-chic estate with fantastic service
Posted 16 Mar 2020 on HotelsFantastic weekend get away. Pleasant custom breakfasts in the garden, spacious comfortable room. Given the time of year, being outside at night was a bit too buggy to enjoy the estate, so keep that in mind if visiting in summer (but no bugs in the rooms). 5 minute walk away from lagoon. Uber to all the good restaurants in about 10-15 minutes (or a 30 minute walk).
Good for a romantic place to get away from the city, without being too isolated. Staff is super nice, and most of them seemed to speak English.

Excellent boutique hotel
Posted 30 Jan 2018We stayed 4 nights here and and loved it. The service is very personal, breakfast can be served where and when you want it. Our room was very comfortable and well thought out. I loved the double whirlpool bath . There is no restaurant but on the Friday night the owners arranged special pasta evening and the food was delicious . I was also able to try “ mate” , the herbal drink that you see all Uruguayans drinking everywhere!

If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, this is a place for you! It’s location is in Punta Ballena, close to Casapueblo where you can enjoy the famous Ceremony of the Sun.

Nice stay
