The location is unbeatable - in the middle of all the action and at the terminus of all the public transit routes. However, condition of the building is quite dated, and the shared bathrooms need remodeling. Within the rooms, the beds and bedding are fairly low quality and there are occasionally bugs.

Professional,polite, and efficient check in. Great location on Lazo Cardenas with balcony off 2nd floor common dining area to relax in. Rooms are basic and clean with decent bedding and AC.

Cute, Clean and Perfect Location

Cute and clean little hostel, owners and staff friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast, too. And the location is fabulous for eating and partying out.

Everything was fabulous, clean, safe private, convenient, friendly staff actually made me a free breakfast and coffee and I had the opportunity to prepare and cook my own food in the common kitchen This has been the best place I have stayed so far, I would definitely stay here again, it is only 3 blocks to the beach.

Excellent value for money. There’s no doubt about that. It’s inexpensive, but for a reason—you get the basics, and that’s it. The room is extremely minimal and the facilities feel a bit dated, but everything was clean and functional, and I had everything I needed. No insects or issues like that. The staff was also very kind. The only real downside for me was the noise coming from the bars and PV nightlife but I knew that when I booked, and earplugs helped a lot. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: right in the middle of everything and close to all the action. Overall, great option if you want a clean, simple place in an unbeatable location.

Nice place

The place has the greatest location in zona romantica, close to everything, beach is only 4 blocks away. The room is basic as seen on the pictures, bed is confortable enough, the courtain from the room is thin. Staff is very nice and willing to accept suggestions.

One thing I will say in the favor of this place is that they did a nice breakfast every morning. The two ladies that cooked most of the time were very nice and very hospitable. The thing that I didn't like the most was the fact that the bathrooms were very small anythingas a hostile

The hotel is clean but the rooms have no windows. I was right next to the nightclub so I could hear the music all night. It’s very basic and very small. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. The location for catching the boat to Yelapa was close so that worked for me.

Excellent Location and Price

An excellent location on Lazo Cardenas. Even though is is on the edge of the area with all of the clubs the noise from music 🎶 is not too bad. It is about the same as hearing a neighbour's stereo. The wall between the hotel and club next door is solid concrete and eliminates much of the sound of music. The large balcony on the 2nd floor accommodates several tables where you can take your breakfast or just relax and watch a day in the life of Puerto Vallarta. Lupita was very helpful,professional, prompt, and accommodating to any requests or needs that I may have had. I will definitely stay here again.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the place. They sigh wasn’t properly in the entrance to advise customers need to contact for check in or reservations. I rang the bell when I arrived nobody answer. There is no TV in the rooms. Bathrooms are outside in the hallway. I don’t recommend it. The lady that cooks breakfast she does everything she is bery nice and makes great pancakes . I won’t stay again

Great location for the price. Room was small without a window to the outside in the bedroom, which was fine as it was just a place to sleep. Very very loud, building shaking loud, on the weekend because it is in the heart of the action, so just be aware if that is not your jam. Walls, floors and surfaces needed a solid wipe down.

I was concerned about the proximity to a busy street and lots of bars, but inside it was very restful and felt like a sanctuary of sorts. Actually I enjoyed being able to go out and have everything within walking distance. The city felt safe even after dark to walk around. It was a good place to land with breakfast and friendly staff.
