Excellence Riviera Cancun was great. The food was fantastic. We didn't have enough time to try everything but lobster house was our favorite. The grill was good other then they had an appetizer that had advacado with pork grinds which was weird. The kitchen and Asian was pretty good too. The property is small could walk it probably within 30 minutes. The gym was very warm oddly. They had some exercise class daily but it was outside it was too muggy I did not participate. There were activities all day by the party pool and at night usually a band and a show then a dj or silent party. The best show was the pop show. The rooms were dated comoared to some I have visited definitely needs a renovation. We had the swim out the wasn't private you went into the lazy river but it was fantastic. They had floaties but they were a little warn they need new ones and possibly every swim out should have 2 in their rooms, they went very fast. I would suggest they put some pavers from the swim out to the pool walking in dirt/grass then pepples to get in the pool was not pleasing. Room was stocked and cleaned daily no complaints there. All staff was nice and customer satisfaction driven. Overall definitely a great resort and a positive experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about this resort! The staff was all top notch and very friendly. The dinner restaurants were delicious. It wasn’t overly crowded when we went and there were tons of cabanas and chairs to choose from. Definitely Recommend!

The staff was excellent and worked overtime to take care of our group of 10. Jesus and Fernando took out standing care of us over and above what would have been expected!

This was an ok property! We enjoyed ourselves, but I would say it’s very outdated. Our room was pretty, and hotel is kept nice, just dated. Room was stinky, my clothes still smells after washing twice since we got back. We didn’t live the food, but it was good. I love chocolate martinis at night, it’s my vacation drink, but they couldn’t make a good one, even though they have a martini bar. I loved yoga classes! We tried to go on bike tour and got there 30 minutes ahead and were 6 and 7th in line, your only takes 8 people. But we were declined bikes because only 6 bikes were working. It was good over all, just not excellente…

We paid extra for a rooftop and they were doing maintenance on it most of the time we were there. The food must be filled with msg or something because I kept getting sick everytime I ate.
