First time here in Puerto Montt and I was anxious about where to stay. Once I saw there was a Courtyard by Marriott, I was relieved. It’s a nice property and my room overlooks the town with a view of the Pacific Ocean. It is clean and to be honest one of the nicest Courtyards I have visited. After a rather stressful series of business meetings in Santiago, this has been perfect.

It is the Marriott which makes it luxury. Comfy bed and large room. The breakfast is unreal

Below my expectations for a Marriott hotel

Good breakfast and neighborhood. Room was not ready when I checked in at 22:00 even having done reservation some hours earlier. Had to wait for the room to be prepared. Tried dinner at the restaurant which seems to be understaffed. Most tables were still full with plates from previous guests. Food was ok. From 2 elevators, only one was working intermittently and had to wait several times until it started working. They told me there should be 2 complimentary coffee capsules in the room, but when I arrived they were already used by previous guest and weren’t refilled. I asked at the reception and they did not have any coffee capsules to replace so they offered me a coffee from the machine near there. I believe this hotel is not at the Marriott quality level yet.
