"The rooms were very nice. However the layout seems for fitting for solo occupancy or a small intimate couple. Even though the glass is frosted you are still able to kinda see through into the shower and toilet areas. I would not stay if in that room if it were my daughter and myself. Very nice rooms. Will stay again with my significant other if given the chance to visit Charlotte again."

"Conveniently located next door to the Spectrum center. The front desk staff was kind and filled us in on what was available downtown for activities. Their breakfast being free is convenient and it's decent. Definitely a great location as well. Valet was a breeze."

"I had an amazing stay. We were there for a family member’s funeral. Double Tree is always my go too hotel. My goodness, the cookies. Amazing. The staff in reception were absolutely incredible. I didn’t have breakfast there, it is not complementary, however that was fine and expected. I do however, try to dine in for dinner, and was told by the bar tender on site that there was 1 chef and it would take him a long time to accommodate us. We opted out and went elsewhere for dinner. Other than that, the stay was amazing. The balcony was lovely, clear view of South Park mall! Walking distance from just about everything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! "
