bit disappointed

We booked a superior double room with sea view and were disappointed that the room was on the ground floor. The view was to the front but the sea view was partially blocked by the garden wall at the front of the property. The room itself was definitely not of superior quality. Very poorly appointed for a superior and there were a couple of disappointing elements such as window ledges extremely dusty, bathroom door did not shut properly and a tiny tv not much bigger than laptop screen. Girl on reception was very nice and when I expressed my disappointment in room she advised that we should have booked a king room and requested first floor. We have stayed at the Parkstone before and had a great room on first floor with excellent seaviews. The food and service at the Parkstone when we stayed before was very good but due to Covid 19 restrictions there was no evening food available but we were advised we could bring in it order takeaway and they would supply plates and cutlery. Breakfast was prepackaged continental which was absolutely fine.

We love that it's on the beach and so close to the centre for bars, restaurants and shops.
