The room had ‘kick kick kick’ noise when I was sleeping at night, very disturbing.

Very handy for the town centre / train station. Room was spacious, warm and bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and parking is available. Would stay again.

This is your basic hotel, made better by helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness and easy access to station and University.
I only made a last minute reservation as my train had been cancelled. I knew I would not get to hotel until nearly midnight. On emailing hotel they provided reassurance within minutes that reception was 24 hour, gave me top notch accurate directions from the station to hotel and instructions to gain hotel access. The check-in was quick and my room was warm and clean. The amenities are utilitarian, but well kept. There was a piping hot radiator next to the bed which really helped on a cold wet Lancashire night! The bathroom was compact, but again very clean and the shower had excellent water pressure and heat both at midnight and the next morning.
I would definitely stay here overnight again.

Great hotel, would definitely stay again.
Posted 1 Mar 2024 on HotelsGreat hotel, only 10 minutes walking from the train station but don’t follow the directions from the hotels.com link! There’ll send you the wrong way, although there is a big sign to show you the right way. Lovely reception from the lady checking us in. Would definitely stay there again.

I will raise the issue with Hotels.com about the directions on their map. An automated email with Hotel information is normally sent with your reservation. As we are on a 'one-way' system, we do advise to use the alternative postcode 'PR1 8YN' and continue underneath the railway bridge onto Marsh Lane. The Hotel is a few metres on the right. Does everything well
Posted 24 Feb 2024 on HotelsThere aren't many hotel options in Preston but fortunately this is a good one. It's a large building, near the university campus, with a bit of a business/conference vibe, but it's fine for a leisure trip too. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and a decent size. The breakfast was good - it was cooked to order rather than a buffet when I visited as they were fairly quiet, but that was no problem at all. If I'm in Preston again, I'll certainly stay here.
