They were remodeling but in my eyes that hotel is about a 75 dollar a nite hotel not 130

Staff did their job. I only needed minimal interaction. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn’t visit the breakfast area because breakfast was offered at the meeting I was attending.

The shower had a lot of stains and the floor looked very dirty and gross. Towel bar broke when pulling off the hand towel. Bed was clean. No dirty laundry bag. Reserved king, checked in under king, when we opened the door it was two queens. We checked in and dropped our bags, when we came back from dinner our room key didnt work. We had to go to the front desk and the lady gave us a hard time asking "was this the room you were assigned at check in?" Like we were criminals trying to break in. Coffee in the lobby was never fresh or hot.

I know the business is under construction- but looks like halls, lobby, and even rooms have not been vacuumed or cleaned in months.
construction on another floor looks like an excuse to have zero maintenance elsewhere.
