Best beach in Praslin!!
Posted 14 Aug 2023 on HotelsWe would go back on a heartbeat. We were extremely lucky to meet Georgette. She helped us organize activities and gave us multiple tips to ensure our vacation was a success. The location was amazing, the place very well maintained, and the people extremely hospitable. Next time we will stay more than 4 days!

Fantastic chalet with a stunning view. Annia was wonderful right from check in to departure. Everything you need in the chalets. Could do with air con in the living room area but other than that amazing. Short walk to shops and restaurants.

Posted 8 Jan 2018 on HotelsLocation is considered "black point" of Praslin due to crime towards tourists in the area. I would not recommend staying in Cote d'or due to this. Additionally, there were multiple lizards crawling in the room. At first this was ok until they got into our baggage. The shower flooded every time we took a shower due to the lack of enclosure. The bed was by far the worst part of the stay. It was incredibly uncomfortable, this was only worsened due to the lack of a duvet or comforter.

This 10 chalet hotel was great.

Pros: Chalets had plenty of room. Nice full service kitchen. Great porch with view of pool and ocean.
Cons: Should provide coffee and bottled water every morning instead of just the first day,
Location: Close to as small town with great restaurants.
We enjoyed our visit and having access to a nice beach and an easy walk to a small town.

Impressive operation and gorgeous!

Pros: Bright and lovely, well-appointed, very comfortable. Excellent location. We were so relaxed and happy staying at Footprints.
Location: Excellent location - right on the beautiful beach, and 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, little stores, etc. Close but not too close. Nice and quiet!
We enjoyed our 5 nights at Footprints very much. Annia the manager is outstanding in all regards. The unit was lovely, airy, bright and spotless.
We were lucky to be placed in one of the beachfront units (Unit 1) - thank you Annia! Though the units are situated so that I can't imagine any of them having a bad view, and the units are also very private from each other - there is good separation between the units in distance and configuration. We know that most of the units were occupied, but the property was quiet and peaceful.
The beautiful beach is right there!
And if you want WIFI (too bad for you if you do, because there is so much beauty on Praslin one should not be wasting time online! I will admit my husband posted some photos of the island to social media some evenings while we relaxed on the huge covered porch), the signal and bandwidth here are fantastic.
The only (very minor) suggestions we have:
1) for a little more to be done to try to combat the tiny sugar ants (a challenge in tropical regions - we lived in the Caribbean and it was an ongoing battle!)
2) for the knives to be sharpened!
3) perhaps time for a new cutting board, or another cutting board
4) this kitchen is beautiful, and the only item we wished for at one point was a blender to make mango smoothies - we probably could have asked Annia for one and she would have spirited one to us, but we ended up going a different direction from the smoothies so we didn't end up asking.

Lovely stay
