Gaetano & Antonella were amazing hosts. They helped guide us to the best spots in town on scooter and they were always available by phone! The room was vey clean and cozy, it really made us feel we were at a beach town! rooms are air conditioned as well! Colazione in the morning was good and just enough to get your day started! I would recommend anyone to come stay here. The experience and memories you will get by staying here will last you a lifetime as Gaetano and Antonella treat you as family! Thank you for the wonderful experience, we will for sure come again!

The owner is wonderful and very attentive, proud of his business. Although is a Bed & Breakfast, if they offer you to prepare dinner for you (not included in the nightly rate, but you will have to find a restaurant ayways), say YES. They will cook you a wonderful meal with local ingredients.

The breakfast was lovely, Gaetano is a good host and very polite.
Nice central location and also less than 5 mn walk to the beach
The room was big and with a nice balcony
The facilities are great. And near by there is a restaurant not expensive with the best pizzas in Italy. Gracie Mille Gaetano.

Nice B&B in a beach town.
Posted 5 Jul 2017Good stop on the way to Sicily. Very nice beach town with lots of good food. Only downside was room on second floor. Staff helped with luggae so not a problem.

Wonderful experience
Posted 30 Jun 2011I stayed here while on vacation with my two children. The B&B is very charming and we loved our room. However, the best part was the people at Al Vecchio Pioppo. They went above and beyond the level of service I expected. I highly recommend you stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo on your next visit to Italy.

Veldig fint og midt i hjertet av byen
Posted 28 Dec 2023 on HotelsEt fine og hyggelig sted. Verten veldig serviceminded og kom som avtalt. Morsomt lite B&B midt i sentrum med kort vei til Strand og kafeer og barer.

Ottima posizione...si può parcheggiare la macchina all' arrivo e riprenderla alla partenza....si raggiunge tutto a piedi
L' hotel è carino e pulito...e il proprietario Gaetano gentile e disponibile .. consiglisto
