Hokey, not charming
Posted 15 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe chose this hotel mostly because it had a lovely high rating, but think it maybe has since changed ownership? Weird tchotchkes all over the place, manager's / owner's (?) kids screaming in the kitchen... all a little hokey, without the charm you might have expected from the photos.
We were charged extra for the breakfast btw which at 300DKK for 2 was shockingly bad. A few bits of supermarket cold cuts, some windfall apples and awful ginger(?) coffee so bad I couldn't drink it. Pretty location on the water, button't keep the high ratings for long if this is the best they can do. Certainly wouldn't recommend at the price.

Dear MichelleThank you for your feedback.We are sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations.We have not changed ownership, but when staying with us, our guests will also meet our staff members and not only us.The decorations in the rooms and common areas are all chosen by ourselves and most are collectives from our own travels abroad. We are sad to hear that you found them weird and unsuitable for your taste.The breakfast is not included in the room price, which is stated on the site when booking. We are sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations, but we receive positive feedback from most guests regarding this. We will, however, make sure to check that the breakfast it still up to our standards when prepared by the staff.We have no ginger coffee at all, so we are a bit confused about this. Our coffee is freshly grinded, pure beans with no ginger or other flavor.The crying baby you heard, was other guests’, whom we offered to sit and eat privately.

Amazing experience in this slice of heaven of a b&b. Super-friendly staff, very peaceful, excellent breakfast, large clean rooms, all surrounded by peaceful nature and sea.

Beautiful location and facilities.

A superb place to stay.
Posted 16 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe received a lovely, warm welcome. We were shown around and given a lot of information to help with a day trip to Copenhagen. What a great family! They couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The house is lovely and the setting is stunning. Our room was very comfortable and cosy, with a view over the sea. It is so peaceful and we slept really well.
The breakfast buffet had a large selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, hot items etc. You won’t go away hungry.
We loved staying here.
