Kind of weird. Mother who ran the place has passed away so they only half open. Son tries hard but just kind of an odd situation. Our actual room was clean and comfortable but the rest of the house was kind of a hoarder situation.

You are correct, we have not fully reopened since my Mom's passing and are still adjusting to the situation. We recently decided to put the house on the market and have begun the painful process of sorting through decades of belongings and as a result, items are unfortunately temporarily being stored in common areas. I am sorry your stay was not what you were expecting.

We loved this B&B. The property and house were beautiful and spotless and the hospitality was outstanding.

Great communication with the owner Matt! (Before and thorough our visit.)
He ensured he knew our breakfast hour preferences across our weekend stay. He was very willing to meet our foods requests as some of us had dietary requirements. Rooms were clean and with new bedding. Beautifully polished hard woods floors are a welcome sight for asthma sensitive guests.

We picked this B&B on a whim glad we did. It was a great little treasure. We enjoyed are stay and the breakfast was amazing.
