Property on the edge of town with ample parking. Good service from all the staff. Comfortable rooms and excellent bathroom. Restaurant not open apart from breakfast, but the town is full of charming places to eat with lovely views. An excellent base for touring the Picos Mountains.

The hotel is ideally located for touring the Picos. Bedroom was clean tidy and standard size. There are very good bike parking facilities at rear of premises.
Breakfast is good without being outstanding.

Loved the location and met the original family that owns this property. Only con: no fans for rooms, so it was pretty warm. Potes was my favorite so stop in Spain!

A fantastic hotel, just within walking distance of the beautiful town of Potes, the gateway to the Picos mountain range. Breakfast was a variety of Spanish cold meats, cheeses, cakes and bread. Cereal and fruit was also available. Self-serve teas and coffee, orange juice and water all available.

Posted 28 Jun 2023 on HotelsOne of the nicest, cleanest hotels I’ve ever visited and situated in a beautiful region of Spain. No restaurant only breakfast served but the town has many restaurants to choose from and only a five minute walk away. No kettle in room but as I always travel with my own, wasn’t a problem as I do enjoy my early morning cuppa!
Will definitely go back and thoroughly recommend.

Great location, clean modern hotel 2 star no chance stay in a 2 star in uk, very good for motorcycles & 5 minute walk to town be aware no parking on property in Portes so this is great. Breakfast continental but adequate & I found beds a bit firm but that’s me I suppose

This was my second stay at the Valdecoro and again I was very pleased with the stay. The rooms were very clean and modern with a good shower with lots of hot water. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and reasonably priced. The bar area was pleasant and comfortable with good wi-fi. Outside, the private car park had a covered area where motor cycles could be safely left. All in all, I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Sited near the centre of Potes it is near to many restaurants and cafes.
