I loved what Wyndham has done with the Howard Johnson brand. The rooms had bright orange walls which is a pretty cool reminder of what hotel you’re in. The staff was great. The breakfast was a nice touch. All items were well stocked. The management team should be proud of the staff and property. I will certainly return next time we’re in Portsmouth.

Very nice however there was a stale smell of old cigarette smoke in our room.

nice hotel, clean for a good price. all the staff was very nice. The manager Robin was excellent, super nice, attentive and very professional, the best !

I didn’t realize this would be a basement hotel room. It had a musty basement smell. Bath tub was yellow. Window sills and most surfaces were dirty/dusty. Staff were lovely both at front desk and breakfast.
