Just an older hotel with small bathroom and thin walls.

We were not prepared for the noise of the construction. Most of the parking lot was closed for the work. The connecting room next to ours was very loud with hammer banking all day long. We should have been notified before hand.

It was not disclosed that the property was undergoing restoration. The pool and hot tub were drained and unavailable, the room had stains on the couch and was dirty. Parking was it was hard and it was inconvenient to load and unload. Service at the front desk and restaurant were good but upon a request for an extra blanket it never arrived. Definitely not worth the price right now.

Was visiting my boyfriend for the night. For the price I paid for the room, breakfast should be included. No pool because of renovation which I understand but still was great

In town for a conference
Posted 7 Feb 2024 on HotelsThis is about the 5th time we've stayed here while visiting Portsmouth. The room and bed is comfortable and both the sink and shower have good water pressure and drain well. While the tub/shower has a grab bar, there are no skid strips or bath mat in the tub, which made it a little slippery. The room amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and room darkening blinds. As usual, we went to the Ribber for an excellent dinner and then down to Patties and Pints for an after dinner drink. The pool was closed and parking was limited due to hotel renovations. The hotel has a bar/restaurant, but we were too late to make breakfast, as it is only served until 10:00 am. It is also within walking distance to the Flood Wall Murals, which are beautiful.
