Ultimately the stay worked out okay, but when I arrived the desk person told me there were only two rooms left and they both had issues. The lesser of the issues was heating/cooling that wasn’t working. I took that room as the weather was cooler. All I got was a shrug of the shoulders…no offer to reduce the rate, give me some free water, nothing. I know it’s a Motel 6, but give me a break! Also, I couldn’t step out of the room without getting blasted with the smell of weed. That’s becoming much too common. Motel 6 needs to stop posting generic pictures instead of actual pics of the motel. It’s false advertising.

Very nice service people. Property is in disrepair, needs significant upgrade. One bed's mattress was damaged.

Did the trick. We needed a good deal after arriving into Portland on a late flight before heading off to explore Mt. Hood region. A little noisy on side of building near highway but we were able to get a good night sleep nonetheless.

I almost froze to death. The heat did not work no matter what I tried. Finally doubled my blanket over me and tried to sleep, I told the front desk and their only reply was, "we'll report it". Room number was 225. maybe you can tell them that you have a very unhappy customer. Thanks.
