In the heart of downtown Portland. Can walk or ride punlic transportation to get to anywhere you want to go. Very convenient

The staff was very accommodating and very nice. They gave great recommendations and were always available to assist in anyway possible.

Super nice hotel, walkable to everything, great and friendly service. They added a “convenience fee” and some other fees at check-in, didn’t expect that.. it was like $40/night extra so not insignificant. I thought I’d paid for the whole trip on Expedia when booking but they made me pay extra at the hotel. I think it’s like a cost-of-living fee.

On June 9th, after checking out, I realized I had left an important suitcase at the front desk. Despite calling to confirm our check-out, the suitcase was not returned to us. The suitcase contains critical items for a patient, including a dental retainer essential for their treatment. I have repeatedly contacted both the front desk and the manager about this urgent matter, but received no adequate response. The front desk gave me a contact number for someone named Carl, but my calls went unanswered. On June 10th, the front desk assured me that the suitcase would be shipped by Friday. However, there was no update or communication by then. When I called again on Sunday, June 16th, a female staff member said the suitcase could be shipped that day. During this call, I overheard a male front desk employee say, "Oh, she's calling again," followed by a disrespectful laugh. This behavior is utterly unacceptable for a four-star hotel. This experience has been distressing, especially given the urgency of the items in the suitcase. While the manager has been courteous, the front desk service has been deeply disappointing. The male front desk employee's behavior on Sunday at 10:33 AM significantly tarnished my impression of the hotel.

The quality of this hotel has gone a bit downhill but it’s still nice and getting close to all the dining on Alder is great.

Good stay with friends! Parking is kinda hard and unsafe unless you valet park.

Stay was ok. But people who traveling for the first time to Portland and especially if you don't know about the parking situation. It's going to be hard.

It was a great hotel, the beds were quite comfy. I was shocked by being charged a fee of $34 for use of the gym, coffee (which is only served until 7am) and other amenities.
