This lodging was everything I needed. The room was clean and well appointed. As the owner is working on a full restoration of the property he public hall wallpapers haven’t been done yet but as soon as you get into the rooms they are very nice.

This business is in the process of developing itself, so doesn't do meals - but does provide cutlery and plates for guests to bring in take-away meals. In a way, that 'in the process' is what gives the place an interesting vibe. The owner (also the only staff) was pleasant, good-humoured and helpful.

Posted 11 Sep 2023 on HotelsAlthough the hotel is in the process of being renovated, the room was clean and well presented, with freshly laundered bed sheets. Plenty of parking available and the hotel is located within easy walking distance of Porthmadoc town centre and associated shops. The owner was very friendly and helpful, would certainly stay here again.
