Rydges Port Macquarie is in a great location - everything required is in walking distance which is great While the hotel common areas nice and modern - the furniture in the rooms is a little dated and worn - saying that though it had a smart tv with streaming from my phone which is always a bonus… the bed and pillows were great too

Parking was a problem. Also there was no Foxtel available. Otherwise a great hotel

The property was in need of a refurbishment over all even if it was floor by floor one per year

Fantastic view and location. Also loved the pool. Parking easy and convenient. Furniture was functional but starting to look a little tired.

It’s was a pretty average experience. Nothing exceptional to share with friends and family. Room 126 probably one of the worst rooms we’ve stayed at for the price. Bathroom floor was wet from water leak our entire stay. Filthy curtains. Flat pillows. View of the bottle shop and car park was underwhelming. Free street parking ok if bothered to move car every two hours after 10.30am. Extra $25 a day for under cover parking on top of room fees a cash grab. Night staff unenthusiastic and sloppy. Positives - The day staff were pleasant and friendly and the location to shops and town green were exceptional and the room was large and the perfect temperature.
