Great for watching boats on the Welland canal. Restaurant downstairs is great too and there are bakeries and other stores handy too.

The room was excellent - well appointed, clean. The climb up stairs was a bit difficult for one with "titanium knees", but it was worth it!

Charming. The room was clean, bright, very nicely decorated and layed out with little kitchen and sitting areas -- and a fireplace! -- and pretty much everything you need for a comfotable stay.

Posted 30 Dec 2023 on HotelsWe've stayed in both a regular room and in the 3 bedroom apartment. We loved it both times. The proprietor is friendly and helpful. The property is lovely and the location is outstanding. The apartment (stateroom) is not in the same building as the pub, but it is just a few buildings down the road. The food is outstanding and the pub atmosphere is very welcoming. Overall, we love this place and highly recommend it.
