A gem on the coast!
Posted 16 Oct 2023 on HotelsFantastic little boutique hotel close to the beach but in a quiet side street. Charming and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing, being prepared by a chef who seems to have won awards. Very impressive place and great quality for the price. Cannot wait to go back!

Lovely hotel, very near the ocean. I was able to run by the ocean! Lovely lobby with a great breakfast for an additional price. I had a room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard and it was lovely! There were no washcloths, cotton balls, cotton rounds or real shampoo in the bathroom. There was shower gel/shampoo body wash.

High quality charm
Posted 6 Nov 2017 on EbookersThe hotel has lots of comfortable character, friendly and helpful staff. We arrived for dinner 20 minutes after the restaurant, the staff were so flexible and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner and bottle of wine.
Simple but tasty breakfast.

Real French Charm
Posted 3 May 2011 on HotelsA delightful, tasteful and peaceful hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. Pornichet is a more sedate and attractive seaside resort than its neighbour La Baule. The town is full of beautiful Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau villas amongst which Villa Flornoy is nestled. A perfect place for a family holiday by the beach or a romantic weekend. Did not eat at the hotel but the food looked good. Their wines were excellent. The only criticism would be, that like everywhere in France, the breakfast is minimal and overpriced for what you get.

great rooms and great location
Posted 27 Sep 2009 on HotelsVilla Flornoy is a lovely small hotel. The rooms are somewhat small but that is very typical of any hotel in France. It was beautifully done in French voille and very romantic. It is about 2 or 3 blocks from the ocean which has a lovely promenade that goes on for miles. Great restuarants and casino all within walking distance.
We had a three course dinner in their dining room for about 19 Euros, the food was excellent and the dining room was beautiful.
